Hon. Chidi Igwe Ukah, the Nigeria Democratic Party (NDC) candidate for Ohafia South State Constituency in the 2027 Abia State House of Assembly election, has met with women of Amaekpu as part of his grassroots consultations ahead of the polls.
During the engagement, Ukah reiterated his commitment to quality representation that prioritises the needs of the people, with particular emphasis on community development, women’s empowerment and opportunities for young people.
He stressed the need for women to have greater access to empowerment opportunities and for young people to receive the support needed to develop their potential and contribute meaningfully to society.
Ukah maintained that the people of Ohafia South deserve representation that gives attention to their concerns and pursues practical solutions to challenges affecting their communities.
The meeting with Amaekpu women provided another platform for him to communicate his vision and engage directly with residents as he seeks their support for the 2027 State Assembly election.
