In a historic move for Abia North, Chief Dr. Emeka Kalu, a renowned business mogul, has officially registered as a member of the Labour Party (LP). The decision comes as part of his bid to contest for the Senate seat in the upcoming 2027 general elections.


The registration took place in his Bende Ovu electoral ward, where Chief Kalu made his intentions known, emphasizing his desire to make a difference in the leadership of the zone.
