Amos Oge KaluTomorrow will be marking the final day of form pick-up for the 500 Abia youths that will be benefiting from the first phase of Dr. Ukpai Iro Ukpai’s training program aimed at empowering the youths as a measure of curbing youth restiveness, cultism, and other social vices. This is because Dr. Ukpai is a man that believes in a practical approach to handling the challenges facing the state.
“I am not in this race of the governorship to make promises to my people, No!, I am in the race to make a difference because this is what leadership should be. Your obligation is to the people, to better their lives, if you believe you can do it when you take over the office, show us that you can do it even before you are given the opportunity at the office.
“I have always emphasized changing the condition of Abia state with information technology which can empower the youths to secure a better future for the state”, he said.

I will explain the reason for DUYTB in a layman’s understanding.
. Dr Ukpai youth Techpreneur Boot camp is a program initiated by Dr. Ukpironiro ukpai who has a passion to educate, train and empower Youths on the importance of Digital technology and aiding with different technological gadgets.
He is so passionate to erase the mentality of Youths saying “No Job” or taking a decision to start driving Keke in Abia state while they can be independent through digital technology Skills.
This training on the 26th is aimed at selecting 500 Youths at DUYTB 1.0.
These selected 1500 from the (3)Zonin es in which this program will be held will be invited to the main boot camp which is where different technological gadgets will be given to empower them to be successfully independent.
We have our resource personnel who have worked with the likes of GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, FLUTTER-WAVE ETC coming to train Youths in Abia state.
