In a historic engagement, the Member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa, paid a courtesy visit to the office of the Lord Mayor of Islington, Chancellor Jason Jackson.
The meeting, described as inspiring and forward-looking, explored avenues for a mutually beneficial initiative between Islington and Arochukwu/Ohafia—Chancellor Jackson’s maternal homeland.

Hon. Osonwa noted that the encounter was deeply personal as well as political, emphasizing the power of heritage and the responsibility to build bridges that uplift people both at home and abroad. He commended Chancellor Jackson’s openness and enthusiasm, reaffirming his belief that cross-border collaborations can yield real and lasting impact.
