The member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa, has reaffirmed his commitment to supporting women-focused initiatives and strengthening community partnerships following a courtesy visit by the Abuja Chapter of Inyom Asaga at his office in the National Assembly.

The delegation, led by the Chapter President, commended the lawmaker for his impactful representation, constituency interventions, and developmental programmes across Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency. They also informed him of the group’s forthcoming August meeting, seeking his continued support and collaboration towards the success of the event.

Responding, Hon. Okwara expressed appreciation for the visit and the confidence reposed in his leadership. In a statement shared on his official Facebook page, the federal lawmaker described the visit as both encouraging and inspiring.

“I am grateful for the encouragement they brought, and for keeping me carried along in the affairs of our people,” he stated.

Highlighting the invaluable role of women in community development, Hon. Okwara noted that women’s groups remain the backbone of every thriving society.

“Our women’s groups are the quiet strength of every community in Arochukwu/Ohafia. They hold our families together, preserve our culture, and drive so much of the progress we see at home. When they take the time to visit, I do not take it lightly,” he said.
