Rt. Hon. Uko Ndukwe Nkole, alongside the NDC candidate for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Elvis Ignis Ogbonna, and ADC Abia North Senatorial Candidate, Bishop Iyke Okoronkwo, joined family members, friends, political associates and well-wishers at the funeral service of the late Mazi Chekwas Albert Oti, popularly known as Ugwu Atani and President General Emeritus Atan Development Union.
The funeral, held on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Atani Aro School Field, Atani, Arochukwu, was an occasion for the community and sympathisers to pay their final respects to the deceased, who passed on at the age of 65.
The funeral service was conducted by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
Rt. Hon. Uko Nkole and his entourage used the occasion to commiserate with the bereaved family, offering their condolences and standing with them as they mourned the passing of their loved one.
Their presence underscored the importance of identifying with the people at critical moments, particularly in times of grief and loss, as they continue to strengthen relationships and engage communities across Abia North.
