Abia State, Nigeria – Governor Alex Otti’s recent visit to Abia State University (ABSU) has been hailed as a significant milestone in the state’s education sector. HRH Eze Bobby Aguocha, Ohuruzo 1 of Ohuhu, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Governor for finding time to visit the university and honoring Senator Chris Adighije on his 80th birthday celebration.

The Governor’s commitment to improving the welfare of students and the university’s infrastructure has been applauded by stakeholders. His people-oriented leadership has brought about a significant positive change in Abia State, with efforts to revamp the education sector, particularly in ABSU, being noteworthy.

HRH Eze Bobby Aguocha who is the Chairman of Royal Renaissance and Grand Patron of Esenaebiri, acknowledged that ABSU has been in dire need of attention and support over the years. The proposed construction of a 5,000-capacity hostel is a welcome development that will improve the learning environment for students.
