Former Anambra State Governor and Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, has declared his intention to contest the 2027 presidential election, insisting that he is fully prepared to lead Nigeria as President.

Obi dismissed claims that his international engagements are aimed at learning governance or positioning himself for a vice-presidential role, stressing that he already understands what it takes to fix Nigeria’s challenges.

He cited his background as a businessman who built his enterprise from the ground up and his record as Anambra State governor as evidence of his competence and readiness. Confident about his vision, Obi confirmed that his name will be on the ballot in 2027 and appealed to Nigerians for their support and prayers as he prepares for another presidential race.
