Hope Uzodinma, the governor of Imo State, introduced Chinyere Ihuoma Ekomaro on Saturday as his running mate in the next governor’s race.
The Governor justified his choice to fire his incumbent deputy, Placid Njoku, at the unveiling ceremony in Owerri.
The All Progressives Congress, APC’s candidate for the election on November 11, Uzodinma, said, “The development is due to ecumenical and political permutations.”
“Our works speak for us,” he declared. We have so much to use in our campaigns. We’re here tonight to support our sincere desire for reelection.
“To add value to this ticket, I have chosen Lady Chinyere Ihuoma Ekomaru as my female deputy.
According to the speaker, “I anticipate the women will appreciate this gesture as my sincere way of recognizing their innate strength to contribute to the growth of our State.”
