I have been compelled to respond to the malicious, calculated, and unfounded publication circulated by faceless individuals under the deceptive name “Concerned Citizens of Ohafia South,” targeting my aspiration to represent Ohafia South State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly.
Ordinarily, I would have ignored such propaganda, but silence in the face of falsehood may be mistaken for admission. I therefore consider it necessary to address these reckless claims point by point and set the record straight.

First, it is unfortunate that the authors of the publication could not even correctly identify the person they seek to malign, repeatedly referring to me as “Mr. Udeeze” instead of my proper name, Hon. Udoeze Kalu. This glaring error alone exposes the desperation, ignorance, and dishonesty behind their malicious agenda.
On the allegation concerning an incident in which I allegedly claimed to have been killed and resurrected, let me state categorically that this matter is rooted in a painful and ugly incident that occurred in our community and remains a subject deserving serious security attention, not mockery or political manipulation.
It is deeply unfortunate that after the incident, the relevant security agencies responsible for conducting a thorough investigation and exposing the masterminds, including the activities linked to Awa Ajugu and his gang, allowed the matter to fade away without decisive action. That negligence has emboldened evil actors who continue to spread confusion, intimidation, and misinformation in our communities. The unfortunate chaos witnessed in Okon-Aku in 2026 did not happen in isolation; it reflects the dangerous consequences of unresolved security concerns and unchecked impunity.
Rather than confront the facts surrounding those troubling events, some individuals have chosen the cowardly path of twisting narratives and weaponizing misinformation against me because they fear my growing acceptance among the people of Ohafia South.
The claim questioning my mental stability is not only false but shameful, irresponsible, and defamatory. Political disagreements should never descend into character assassination or insensitive attacks designed to ridicule personal experiences or difficult circumstances. I remain mentally, emotionally, and intellectually capable of offering purposeful representation to the good people of Ohafia South.
Equally laughable is the baseless accusation branding me a “blackmailer” or a divisive figure. Those who know me understand my unwavering commitment to justice, truth, community engagement, and accountability. Speaking truth to power, standing against injustice, and exposing wrongdoing should not be twisted into blackmail simply because some powerful interests feel uncomfortable.
My political journey has consistently been driven by the desire to uplift our people, promote development, create opportunities for our youths, strengthen local empowerment, and ensure effective representation that prioritizes the welfare of ordinary citizens over selfish political interests.
The people of Ohafia South are politically conscious and intelligent enough to distinguish between genuine leadership and desperate propaganda. They know that elections should be about ideas, vision, competence, and service, not malicious gossip manufactured by frightened political actors hiding behind anonymous signatures.
I therefore challenge the Abia State Government to compel the Police and relevant security agencies to revisit the unresolved matter with a view to uncovering the truth, identifying those responsible, and finding lasting solutions to the insecurity and chaos that have continued to affect our communities. It is my firm belief that the same forces behind those troubling incidents are connected to the ongoing smear campaign against my person and political aspiration.
To the good people of Ohafia South, I remain focused, undeterred, and committed to the vision of responsible, transparent, and people-centered leadership. No amount of intimidation, propaganda, or sponsored falsehood will distract me from my determination to serve.
