Mayor’s Support Group For Bourdex Pays Courtesy Visit To Ohafia LGA Mayor

The Mayor’s Support Group for Bourdex, Agborcourt Bourdex Foundation, Abiriba, has paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Mayor of Ohafia Local Government Area, Hon. Chief Eleanya Ojuu Kalu, as part of its ongoing mobilisation for the Abia North Senatorial Candidate, Chief Dr. David Ogba Onuoha, popularly known as Bourdex.

During the engagement, the group reaffirmed its support for Bourdex’s senatorial ambition, expressing its determination to mobilise voters across the senatorial district towards his success at the polls.

The group assured the Executive Mayor that it would intensify its grassroots mobilisation efforts, with a commitment to securing strong support for the candidate.

Receiving the delegation, Mayor Eleanya Ojuu Kalu commended the group for its initiative and commitment. He also acknowledged the capacity, competence and leadership qualities of Chief Dr. David Ogba Onuoha, noting his potential to contribute meaningfully to the development of Abia North.

The Mayor further highlighted what he described as the transformational changes and developmental strides recorded across Abia State under the administration of Governor Alex Chioma Otti, OFR.

He stressed the importance of supporting the Governor’s vision and programmes while encouraging the group to remain united, focused and committed to its mobilisation efforts.

Mayor Kalu also called for increased voter mobilisation and participation, urging the electorate to turn out in large numbers to exercise their civic responsibility during the election.

The meeting was also attended by Chief Leslie Ebueme Ezikpe, a prominent businessman and stakeholder, who was present during the engagement.

The visit ended with renewed commitment among the participants towards the Bourdex project and the broader development of Abia North.
