Ndi Bende, Let’s Put Politics Aside And Support Hon. Karibe Ojigwe To Be Our Federal Rep. Member

Ndi Bende ibem, biko, let us drop party cap for one minute and talk as one family.

Remove PDP cap. Remove APC cap. Remove Labour Party cap. Remove NDC cap. Just be Bende man, Bende woman, Bende youth.

Look at our land with ordinary eye — not party eye.

Our land is tired.

In Itumbauzo, our brothers still climb hills to make calls because network no dey. In Ebem Ohafia road that enters Bende, gully is swallowing houses. In Umuhu Ezechi, water project done since 2013 is now monument of rust. In Nkpa, young girls wake 4am to fetch water from stream before school because borehole is dead.

This is not PDP problem. This is not APC problem. This is Bende problem.

And Bende problem needs Bende solution, not party solution.

That is why today I am begging us — let us put politics aside and support *Hon. Pascal Karibe Ojigwe* to be our Federal Rep Member.

I know some will say “but he is NDC, I am APC.” My brother, when hunger knocks, does hunger ask your party? When your mother is sick and there is no doctor at health centre in Ozuakoli, does sickness ask if you are LP or PDP? No.

The Rep we want to send is not going to Abuja to go and do party meeting. He is going to go and drag federal presence to Bende.

In Abuja, federal budget is shared with mouth, with brain, with connection, with respect. If you send a man who can only shout “my party, my party,” they will ignore him. But if you send a man who has built something before, who is known across Nigeria, who has business friends, who has European exposure, they will listen.

Hon. Karibe is not just a politician looking for food. He is a builder who has built before. He led Enyimba — the biggest football brand in Nigeria — and made it respected in Africa. He managed young people as Commissioner and they felt impact. He lived outside and saw how a local government can work like a small country — with industrial park, with tourism, with real jobs for youths.

What Bende needs now is not party man. Bende needs market man, business man, development man, connection man.

Think of this: If we bring a big rice processing machine to Bende today, will that machine ask whether the farmer is APC or PDP before buying his rice? No. It will buy from everybody and everybody will have money in pocket.

If we light up all our junctions with solar light so that our sisters can sell roasted corn till 8:30pm and come home safe, will that light ask your party? No. Light shines for everybody.

If we bring small palm oil refining factory to Ozuitem so that our mothers don’t have to press oil with manual press that breaks waist, will that factory say “only NDC women”? No. Every woman will use it.

If we arrange proper quarry management in Alayi and Igbere so that community gets royalty, youth gets job, and road is not destroyed by heavy trucks, will that royalty select party? No.

If we turn our beautiful hills in Item and Igbere into a resort where people from Aba and Umuahia come to relax and leave money, will that money select party? No.

That is what Hon. Karibe is carrying in his head. Not party. Development.

I have watched him closely. He does not talk about abusing other candidates. He does not talk about “I will deal with them.” He talks about how to make Bende work like a small Germany inside Abia — where road does not cut after one rain, where school has computer, where clinic has drugs, where youth has something doing with hand, not only certificate.

Ndi Bende, let us be honest — for 24 years we voted party, we voted big name, we voted money. What did party give us? Same dark junction. Same children sitting on cold floor. Same graduate pushing wheelbarrow in Ariaria.

Maybe it is time to vote person, not party. Vote capacity, not cap. Vote future, not past.

Hon. Karibe has no EFCC baggage. No story of carrying constituency money. His hands are free. His heart is in Bende. His children know Bende. He knows the smell of Bende soil after rain.

If we put politics aside and give Bende one chance to try a different kind of man — a man who thinks like businessman but loves like son — Bende will breathe again.

I am not saying forget your party forever. Keep your party. But for Federal House in 2027, let all parties in Bende agree on one thing — let us send the best of us.

Let us send Hon. Karibe Ojigwe.

Because when development comes, it will not come to PDP house alone or APC house alone. It will come to Bende house.

And Bende house is our father’s house. Let us build our father’s house together.
