In Ohafia South State Constituency, the 2027 election is bringing representation back to the centre of the political conversation.
For Chidi Igwe Ukah, representing the constituency means more than attending sittings at the Abia State House of Assembly.

It means knowing what people in the communities are dealing with and making those issues part of the work of the Assembly.
A representative is expected to speak for the people, follow up on issues affecting the constituency and remain accessible to the people who gave the mandate.
That is the standard Chidi Igwe Ukah is taking to the 2027 contest.
His campaign is also drawing attention to the role of young people in deciding who represents Ohafia South. The youths who queue at polling units, mobilise their communities and participate in elections should also have a strong voice in determining the person who occupies the seat.
For many young constituents, the attraction is straightforward: Chidi Igwe Ukah is one of their own generation, entering the race at a time when they want to see younger people take a more active role in public leadership.
The 2027 contest will ultimately be decided by the voters of Ohafia South.
But the campaign has already put its position on the table.
It is time for youth to take its place.
It’s Youth O’Clock in Ohafia South — and Chidi Igwe Ukah is asking the people to make the change in 2027.
