The New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP Candidate, Dr. Ukpai Iro Ukoai, has called on Abia electorates to take advantage of the ongoing Personal Voters’ Card collection from INEC to arm themselves for the civic responsibility of choosing leaders who have the capacity and the requisite experience to change the condition of the state through qualitative and people oriented leadership.

He made this call while addressing members of Dr Ukpai Iro Campaign Organization, DUCO at their enlarged strategic meeting on Saturday.

“This is what we all are expected to do in all our local government areas for our Governorship and other adopted candidates who are determined to change the sorry narrative of despondency, backwardness and impunity reigning over Abia to date.

“We don’t need to wait for anyone to give us instruction. All of us are Dr Ukpai’s supporters. This is a movement aimed at taking back Abia from the wicked politicians. Please let’s get to business, let’s take the message of hope to the electorate and educate them more on the need to be armed with their PVC because there lies their power to negotiate for a better deal for this generation and generations unborn” he urges.

Indeed, in the 2023 gubernatorial race to Abia Lion House, Dr Ukpai Iro Ukoai, as a focused and goal oriented candidate had released his campaign Manifesto called “The Glorious Manifesto”, a comprehensive, articulate and high powered document that underscores the place of digital economy as the benchmark for any aspiring state in the 21st Century. He has proven to be armed with the ready answers to pressing questions on Abia’s Economic, Capital and Human Development.
