The OTTIMANIA Legacy Movement yesterday staged a massive Solidarity Walk through Umuahia, the Abia State capital, in support of the re-election bid of Governor Alex Chioma Otti, OFR.
The movement said its support for Governor Otti’s second-term ambition is anchored on the conviction that continuity remains critical to consolidating the democratic gains and development strides recorded in Abia State under the present administration.



The solidarity walk attracted supporters, political stakeholders, professionals and lovers of Abia State who marched through the streets of Umuahia, expressing their confidence in the Governor’s leadership and calling for the continuation of his administration beyond 2027.
At the centre of the OTTIMANIA Legacy Movement is Ambassador Dr. Osita Offor, “De Ultimate Commander,” (Ikenga Gburuguru of Ohafia and Nneato Ancient Kingdoms), alongside other prominent Nigerians, including Chief Raymond Nkemdirim MFR, (Ugwumba), a former Director Presidency, Chairman of the OTTIMANIA Legacy Movement, and Engr. Henry Okoroafor whose absence was unavoidable.
Speaking on the successful outing, Ambassador Dr. Osita Offor commended the numerous supporters and lovers of Abia State who turned out to identify with the movement and make the solidarity walk a huge success.
He particularly appreciated the participation of Hon. Ginger Onwusibe, Chief McDonald Ubah, Special Adviser to Governor Otti on Security, Chief Dr. Chima Desmond Anyaso (Ofuji) for his doggedness and tenacity, Chief Chris Ihesi, Sir Chime Okwuokenye, High Chief Uzor Ekworomadu, Managing Director of Masters Suite Hotel, Umuahia,, among other prominent personalities and supporters.
He also praised Dr. Uduma Nnate, Mr. Peterson Agu, and Shedrack for their exceptional organisation abilities to saw to the success of the one day walk.
Offor described the turnout as a clear indication that a growing number of Abians are interested in sustaining the progress recorded in the state, insisting that the gains of the present administration should not be disrupted.
Speaking during the event, Chief McDonald Ubah who commended the movement and pledged continued support.
He said, “Today’s turnout shows that Abians believe in this cause. I supported the event because I believe in continuity and the development Governor Alex Otti is bringing to Abia. This is not the end; we are prepared to support bigger and better outings because Abia deserves progress and stability.
The Special Adviser to Governor Otti further thanked the participants on behalf of his Principal, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti OFR, for their commitment and dedication to the OTTIMANIA Movement which he said demonstrated the desire of Abians to sustain the current direction of the administration’s developmental drives.
He maintained, “This is more than a walk; it is a demonstration of confidence in Abia’s future. If we want continuity, we must participate actively in the democratic process and support the development we want to see sustained.”
Dr. Chima Desmond Anyaso who described the event as a strong demonstration of grassroots mobilisation and political awareness.
According to him, “The message is clear: Abians want progress. We cannot abandon a path that is producing results. We must remain united, organised and committed to ensuring that the gains already recorded are sustained.”
Chief Chimaobi Anyaso (Ofuji), who is also the Labor Party House of Representatives Candidate for Bende Federal Constituency, insists that the OTTIMANIA project represents a broader commitment to the transformation of Abia State.
Anyaso said, “I am fully committed to this project and ready to invest my resources, time, energy and capacity to ensure victory for Abia. We must make the necessary sacrifices for the liberation and development of Bende and the progress of our state.”
The OTTIMANIA Legacy Movement further reaffirmed its commitment to mobilising support for Governor Otti ahead of the 2027 governorship election, with a message centred on continuity, consolidation and the protection of the development gains already recorded in Abia.
Addressing supporters, Ambassador Dr. Osita Offor, President of the OTTIMANIA Legacy Movement, assured Abians that the movement would deploy the necessary resources and mobilisation to protect the people’s votes during the 2027 election.
Offor said, “Let nobody deceive you that the Abia election can simply be rigged. OTTIMANIA will mobilise the necessary human and material resources to protect the votes of Abians. But every Abian must play a part. Go and get your PVC, register and be ready to vote. We will mobilise massively, educate our people and ensure that every vote counts.”
For the movement, the solidarity walk was not merely a political procession, but a public expression of confidence in the Otti administration and a call for Abians to sustain the trajectory of development through continuity.
