The OTTIMANIA Legacy Movement is preparing to intensify door-to-door grassroots mobilisation across Abia State for the re-election of Governor Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, his Deputy, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu, FNSE, and other Labour Party candidates in the 2027 general elections.
The movement’s Conveners, Patrons and Advisory Board members are leading efforts to expand its grassroots reach following the conclusion of the constitution of its State, Zonal and Local Government Area (LGA) executive structures.

With the structures in place, the movement says it is ready to begin its campaign for the return of Governor Otti and his deputy, while awaiting the participation of members who are yet to join its activities.
The movement has also clarified that its platform serves as a decision-making forum for its Patrons, Advisory Board, Conveners and State Executive Council, stressing the need for members to respect one another’s positions and contributions.
OTTIMANIA Legacy Movement is duly registered with the Labour Party as a pro-group established to mobilise support for Governor Otti, his deputy and other party candidates in the 2027 elections.
At the centre of its campaign is the position that the policies, reforms and projects initiated by the Otti administration have placed Abia on a new development path that should be sustained beyond 2027.
The movement believes that a second term for the administration would provide an opportunity to consolidate what it describes as the gains of the “New Abia,” while allowing ongoing projects and reforms to mature and deliver greater impact across the state.
Its campaign message is captured in the slogan, “Be Part Of The History,” which reflects its call for sustained support for the Otti administration and the continuation of its development agenda.
The Board of Trustees Chairman, Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, CON, and the movement’s President, Ambassador Osita Offor, also known as Ikenga Gburuguru and the Ultimate Commander, are leading the movement’s position that its campaign goes beyond securing another electoral victory for Governor Otti.
According to the movement’s leadership, the objective is to build a grassroots political base around the argument that Abia’s current development direction should be sustained beyond 2031.
Welcoming members already participating in the movement’s activities, the Executive Secretary, Dr. Uduma Nnate, urged them to interact while awaiting further information and the arrival of other members expected to join the platform.
Nnate reiterated the movement’s rallying call: “Be Part Of The History.”
