The OTTIMANIA Legacy Movement has commended Governor Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, for appointing several of its members to key positions in the Abia State Labour Party Governorship Campaign Council for the 2027 election.
President of OTTIMANIA, Ambassador Dr. Osita Offor, “De Ultimate Commander,” congratulated former Deputy Governor of Abia State, Rt. Hon. Ude Okochukwu, who was appointed Chairman of the campaign council, and Rt. Hon. Agwu U. Agwu, who was named Director-General.
Okochukwu and Agwu are both prominent members of the OTTIMANIA Legacy Movement.
Ambassador Offor also congratulated Dr. Christian Anokwuru, appointed Director of Special Duties; Barr. Kelechi Nwaiwu, SAN, Director of Legal; Col. Emeka Chilaka (Rtd.); Dr. Prince Temple Nwosu; and other OTTIMANIA members appointed to various positions in the council.
The campaign council, constituted by Governor Otti, has the Governor as Chairman and Deputy Governor, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu, as Vice Chairman. Its inauguration took place on Monday, October 5, 2026, at the Michael Okpara Auditorium, Umuahia.
Offor described the appointment of Rt. Hon. Ude Okochukwu and Rt. Hon. Agwu U. Agwu, as recognition of their records in public service and urged them to bring their political experience to bear on their respective responsibilities.
He said their appointments give OTTIMANIA significant representation in the team responsible for coordinating the Labour Party’s governorship campaign across Abia.
The OTTIMANIA President urged the appointees to justify the confidence placed in them and work with other Labour Party stakeholders towards Governor Otti’s re-election in 2027.
He said the movement remains committed to the continuity of the policies, projects and reforms of the Otti administration beyond 2027.
