As part of activities marking the unveiling of the Roadmap to RATTAWU @50, the President of the Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers’ Union (RATTAWU), Prince Emeka Kalu, popularly known as Magic Fingers, paid a courtesy visit to renowned businessman and philanthropist, Prince Engr. Arthur I. Eze (Ozoigbondu), founder of Atlas Oranto Petroleum, where he presented him with an Award of Excellence in recognition of his remarkable contributions to the media and broadcasting industry in Nigeria.
The honour was bestowed on Prince Arthur Eze in acknowledgement of his legacy as one of the founding fathers and pioneers of broadcasting in the country, whose contributions have continued to shape media development and national discourse.



Speaking during the event, Prince Arthur Eze expressed heartfelt appreciation to RATTAWU for the recognition, describing the award as a significant honour.
He also used the occasion to repeatedly advocate for peace, unity, and national cohesion in Nigeria, urging journalists and media professionals under RATTAWU to deploy their platforms in promoting peace, responsible journalism, and national integration.


Prince Arthur Eze further called on media practitioners to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stressing the need for continuity and stability to enable the President complete a second tenure and consolidate on his achievements for national development.
The colourful event was further enlivened by captivating performances from the cultural troupe of the National Theatre of Arts, adding cultural splendour and significance to the gathering. Reputable media organisations were equally on ground to provide extensive national coverage of the occasion.
