The President of the (RATTAWU), Comrade Prince Emeka Kalu, has extended warm greetings and heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim Ummah across Nigeria, particularly Muslim members of the union, on the occasion of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
In a goodwill message, the RATTAWU President, described as the union’s “golden era President,” urged Muslims nationwide to uphold the enduring values of sacrifice, obedience, peace, love, and unity, which Eid-el-Kabir represents.
Comrade Kalu called on Nigerians to continue praying for the peace, stability, and progress of the nation while encouraging citizens to embrace tolerance, mutual understanding, and harmonious coexistence regardless of religious or ethnic differences.
According to him, Eid-el-Kabir provides an important opportunity for reflection, compassion, and renewed commitment to national development, stressing that the spirit of sacrifice associated with the festival should inspire collective responsibility toward nation-building.
The RATTAWU President also encouraged workers in the media, arts, and cultural sectors to remain professional and patriotic in the discharge of their responsibilities, particularly in promoting national unity and responsible information dissemination.
Speaking on behalf of the Central Working Committee (CWC), National Executive Council (NEC), and members of RATTAWU nationwide, Comrade Prince Emeka Kalu wished all Muslim faithful a peaceful, joyous, and spiritually fulfilling Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
He further prayed for lasting peace, economic prosperity, and greater national unity, expressing hope that the season of sacrifice and thanksgiving would bring renewed blessings to Nigerians.
