Victor Sochima, a goalie with the Super Eagles, and his wife Juliet had their first child.
On Wednesday, Juliet delivered birth in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Sochima, who was overjoyed, shared a photo of the new baby and a brief caption on social media.
“God be praised for the safe delivery…Victor Sochima Jr. is present,” he wrote.
The 24-year-old recently became eligible for regular Super Eagles invitations.
For the most recent three 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Guinea-Bissau and Sierra Leone, the Rivers United goalkeeper was selected to the Super Eagles squad.
