Support groups backing the Member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Hon. Chief Ibe Okwara Osonwa, have endorsed his second-term bid and agreed to operate henceforth under a single central platform, Ibe Means Business
The decision was reached at a harmonisation and interaction meeting held at European Hall, Ndi Oji Abam, which also saw the inauguration of Ward Coordinators for the movement.

Performing the inauguration on behalf of the federal lawmaker, the Majority Leader of the Abia State House of Assembly and Member representing Arochukwu State Constituency, Hon. Uchenna Okoro Kalu, thanked the supporters for their steadfastness and charged them to remain united and focused until the mandate is secured.
The Coordinator of the 4+4 Movement in Ovukwu Ward, Comr. Agwu C.U., commended the lawmaker’s performance and contributions to the constituency, describing his record as worthy of continued support.
Speakers at the meeting pointed to interventions recorded across Arochukwu LGA in the last three years, among them the furnished classroom blocks at Abam High School in Ozu Abam, solar-powered boreholes in Umuye Ihechiowa and Ugwuakuma, the 500kVA transformer delivered to Amoba Village as its first dedicated power supply, and solar streetlights installed at Ozu Abam Market, Amurie Abam Daily Market, Ahia Nkwo Obinkita, Ukwakwu Ututu Market, Obieze Isu Market and Ahia Obinto Ihechiowa.
Reference was also made to the recent free medical and surgical outreach, in which Ndioji Abam PHC served as one of two surgical centres, and which recorded over 9,000 medical cases and 38 free surgeries across the constituency, as well as the tertiary scholarship examinations conducted in Isu and Ututu.
On the legislative side, the lawmaker’s motions on the Isu boundary crisis and the petition he laid on behalf of the people of Idima Abam over the murder of four indigenes were cited as evidence of sustained advocacy for Arochukwu LGA on the floor of the House of Representatives.
The 4+4 Movement, Arochukwu LGA Chapter, also unanimously adopted His Excellency Dr. Alex Chioma Otti (OFR), Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa, Hon. Uchenna Okoro Kalu and Chief David Ogba Onuoha (Bourdex) as their sole candidates for the 2027 general elections.
The meeting ended with a pledge by the groups to work collectively for the success of the Ibe Means Business movement and the second-term bid.
