Ichita urges Ikpeazu to disclose how N27.4 billion World Bank fund was spent in Abia

A Principal Officer of the Abia State House of Assembly representing Aba South State Constituency, Martins Ichita has urged Ikpeazu to disclose the banking details of how the state government spent the N27.4 billion. The state government is using the World Bank funds for road construction and erosion control in Aba, Port-Harcourt Road, Uratta Road, Obohia Road, Ohanku Road, and Ngwa Road. The Police Command in Cross River on Saturday paraded 16 suspects arrested for various alleged electoral offences in the Ogoja Local Government Area of the state. The Court of Appeal in Abuja on Friday granted orders to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP) to interrogate the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on the conduct of the February 25 presidential and National Assembly elections.
