Police officer reportedly kills self after killing his colleague

Inspector Nelson Abuante, a police officer with the Rivers State Police Command, is said to have shot and killed his colleague Monday Gbaramana. Abuante then took his own life. Helicopter crashes into building in Lagos.

On Tuesday, a helicopter in Lagos State's Oba Akran Ikeja crashed into a structure. According to information, the incident occurred at 3:00 pm close to United Bank for Africa, Oba Akran, and AP Filling Station. The plane caught fire close to Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), where it was headed. According to OHAFIATV News, the helicopter's pilots were rescued. On the other hand, it is unknown if there were any further passengers. When this report was sent, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) responders were already on the scene.
