Many terrorists killed in Katsina as Vigilante thwart attacks

Members of a pro-government vigilante group, Special Hunters and Vigilante, on Sunday, thwarted an attack by a gang of armed men in the town of Batsari in Katsina State killing several of the raiders. Gunmen kill vigilante leader’s wife in Enugu

Gunmen killed the wife of a local vigilante leader in Umuopu, Enugu-Ezike, a community in the Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of Enugu State southeastern Nigeria. The incident occurred on Friday night. The victim, Ogochukwu Onuh, was shot to death after her husband, known simply as Akada, allegedly ran away from the gunmen. Sources said the gunmen were furious that the vigilante leader, who was their target, escaped, prompting them to kill the wife. Terrorists Attack Zamfara Mosque During Juma’at Prayer, Kidnap Several Worshippers

Terrorists on motorcycles attacked a Jum’at mosque on Friday and kidnapped several worshipers in the Zugu community of the Bukkuyum area in Zamfara state. Multiple local sources said that the terrorists did not kill any residents during the attack that lasted more than an hour. Bandits kill soldier, kidnap foreign national in Kaduna community

Suspected gunmen Friday, stormed a farm in Anchau village of Kubau Local Government Area of Kaduna State, on Wednesday, killing a soldier who was detailed to provide security to staff members in the company. A source disclosed that after killing the security personnel, they abducted two staff of the company, a Zimbabwean national. Amotekun arrests suspects in connection with recent Owo massacre

The Commander of the Ondo State Security Network, otherwise known as Amotekun, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye, has revealed that some of the suspects involved in the June 5 terror attack at Saint Francis Catholic Church, Owo, have been apprehended. According to Adeleye, the vehicle that the gunmen used to escape from the scene of the attack had also been retrieved as well as some of the instruments used.
