Bandits took N2mill ransom, kill chief Imam’s senior wife in Kaduna

Bandits have shot dead the senior wife of the Chief Imam of Nomadic Central Mosque in Rugan Ardo, Isyaka Adamu. Mrs. Hulaira Hussaini Ardo was shot dead after the bandits collected 2 million Naira as ransom. The bandits had on February 11, 2023, Kidnapped four wives of Malam Husaaini Ardo, at Rugan Ardo in Kagarko LGA, and killed the Chief Imam of Nomadic Central Mosque in Rugan Ardo, Isyaka Adamu. The Madaki of Janjala, Samaila Babangida, confirmed the killing and said the community was mourning the killing of their chief’s wife, adding that the bandits refused to release her corpse.…

DPO reportedly killed by Bandits in Zamfara

A Divisional Police Officer in Maru town, Maru Local Government area of Zamfara State, SP Kazeem Raheem, was reportedly killed by bandits in the early hours of Saturday, March 4. The DPO was killed by bandits alongside a yet-to-be-identified police sergeant and a vigilante. Bandits kill 120-year-old woman, 5 others in Sokoto

Gunmen suspected to be bandits attacked Raka village of Tangaza Local Government Area in Sokoto State and burnt down many houses and food items before they made away with an undisclosed number of domestic animals. A 120-year-old woman and five other community members were also killed by the marauders, Daily Post reports.
