IPOB tells Southern leaders to Stop begging Buhari govt, Nnamdi Kanu is innocent

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has urged Southern leaders to stop begging the Federal Government to release its leader, Nnamdi Kanu. IPOB said begging the Federal Government makes Kanu look guilty when he has committed no offence. Emma Powerful, the spokesman of IPOB, was reacting to a call by the Southern and Middle Belt Leaders’ Forum, SMBLF, that Kanu should be released. SMBLF accused the Federal Government of openly displaying double standards with Kanu’s continued detention. Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu now prisoner of conscience – IPOB

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, on Friday, declared its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, as a prisoner of conscience. Today, 10th November 2021, a lot of drama occurred in the premises of the Court when the DSS prevented some members of Nnamdi Kanu's Legal Team and Supporters from accessing the court with the excuse that the instruction came from the Federal Government. But when the leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu arrives court,, he personally confronted DSS officials and inquires the reasons for refusal of some members of his legal team access into the courtroom. it almost resulted serious argument but for the quick intervention of some court officials around.
