Kenyan Court Declares Nnamdi Kanu’s Abduction and Rendition to Nigeria Illegal

Awards ₦120m in Damages A High Court in Nairobi, Kenya, has ruled that the 2021 abduction and forced rendition of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), was unlawful and unconstitutional. The court declared that both the Kenyan and Nigerian governments grossly violated Kanu's fundamental human rights.
