INEC declares Abia South Presidential/NA elections inconclusive

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Sunday declared the Presidential/National Assembly elections in Abia South Senatorial Zone inconclusive.. Nkem Okoh, INEC electoral officer for Abia South Senatorial zone, who made the announcement in a brief chat with journalists, at Constitution Crescent Primary school, Aba, collation center for the zone, however, refused to give reasons for the rerun when she was asked. Court to deliver judgment in suit seeking Buhari’s removal from office Monday

INEC directs Abia PDP to conduct fresh primaries for Ikonne’s replacement within 14 days

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has debunked claims that it had commenced investigations into allegations of criminal forfeiture against the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu. Tinubu had come under serious attack lately following the release of documents suggesting that some funds belonging to him were seized by the United States Government in 1989 for being proceeds of drug trafficking.
