The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the minimum admissible scores for admissions into Nigerian tertiary institutions for the 2025/2026 academic session. According to the board, the minimum cut-off marks are: – Universities: 150 – Polytechnics: 100 – Colleges of Education: 100 – Colleges of Nursing Sciences: 140 These cut-off marks were agreed upon by stakeholders, including heads of tertiary institutions, during the 2025 JAMB Policy Meeting held in Abuja. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, or JAMB, has steadfastly maintained that exam results cannot be falsified. The Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, or UTME, results are not saved in the "cloud," according to JAMB's Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede. JAMB fixes new date for 2023 UTME

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced a new date for the commencement of the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations. The board disclosed this in a statement signed by its Head of Public Affairs and Protocol, Dr Fabian Benjamin, in Abuja on Sunday. Benjamin said the UTME which was earlier scheduled to commence on April 29, would now start on April 25, 2023.
