ISWAP bury 26 terrorists killed in military bombardments in Borno

After sustained aerial bombardments and elimination of terrorists, surviving fighters of the Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) have buried 26 members in Ngala Local Government Area of Borno State, northeast Nigeria. The terrorists were eliminated on Sept 9, in a coordinated air strike by the Nigerian military on two camps of the ISWAP in Sigir and Yarwa Kuwa on the fringes of Lake Chad. Judge jails commercial motorcyclist for life for raping 9-year-old girl

An Ado-Ekiti High Court on Wednesday sentenced a 31-year-old commercial motorcyclist, Ojo Adebayo, to life in prison for raping a nine-year-old girl. The defendant was indicted on a charge of desecration before Judge Olalekan Olatawura in March. Court gives DSS go-ahead to detain Tukur Mamu, bandits negotiator

A Federal High Court, Abuja, has granted a prayer by the Department of State Services (DSS) to detain the former terrorists’ negotiator, Tukur Mamu, for 60 more days.
