Navy intercepts two individuals with 3,500 litres of petrol en route Cameroon

The Nigerian Navy, Forward Operating Base (FOB) Ibaka, has reported the arrest of two suspected oil thieves who were found carrying 3,500 litres of petrol in a wooden boat en route to Cameroon. The Commanding Officer, Capt. Uche Aneke, disclosed this while handing over the suspects and items to the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) in Ibaka on Tuesday. According to Aneke, the suspects were apprehended along the waterways at about 11:15 am on May 18. Nigerian Navy Destroys Illegal Refineries and Seizes Stolen Crude Oil in Bayelsa

The Nigerian Navy Forward Operating Base in Brass, Bayelsa, has conducted a successful operation targeting illegal refinery sites and seized stolen crude oil as part of the ongoing Nigerian Navy Operation Delta Sanity. Commanding Officer Capt. Murtala Aminu Rogo announced the destruction of three illegal refinery sites and a wooden boat, along with the confiscation of 160,000 liters of suspected stolen crude oil.
