The attention of the Abia State Government has been drawn to a misleading message currently circulating on social media and various online platforms, claiming that a State and Local Government Pension Verification Exercise is scheduled to commence in Abia State on Wednesday, October 16, 2025. The Ministry of Information wishes to categorically state that this information is false, misleading, and not issued by the Abia State Government.
