Petition against Tinubu in the presidential election: Peter Obi closes case

The petition filed by Peter Obi and his Labor Party, LP, challenging the election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu before the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC), was closed on Friday. Obi and LP are the complainants in the CA/PEPC/03/2023 petition contesting the results of the general election that elected Tinubu as president of Nigeria on May 29. Forensic expert: INEC removed the presidential election results from FCT BVAS.

Hitler Nwuala, a digital forensic expert, testified before the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) in Abuja that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) purposefully deleted all of the presidential election results from the Federal Capital Territory's (FCT) Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) machines in order to prepare for the March 18 governorship election. High Court reserves ruling on Emefiele’s bail application
