Ten-year-old boy detained by police after he allegedly strangled his friend to death

A 10-year-old child has been taken into custody by the Lagos State Police Command on suspicion of fatally strangling his fellow 10-year-old during a football game. On Sunday, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, a spokesman for the Command, told reporters that the arrest had been made. About 45 passengers in South Africa lost their lives in a bus tragedy on Thursday. About 300 kilometres north of Johannesburg in the province of Northeastern Limpopo bus slid off a bridge and caught fire after it slammed through a barrier of a bridge. See names, photos of 8 persons declared wanted by DHQs for murder of 17 Soldiers in Delta

The Defence Headquarters has proclaimed eight people wanted for their involvement in the recent death of 17 military personnel in Delta State. The list was released by the military during a briefing in Abuja on Thursday. Those declared wanted include Prof. Ekpekpo Arthur, Andaowei Dennis Bakriri, Akevwru Daniel Omotegbo (a.k.a Amagben), Akata Malawa David, Sinclear Oliki, Clement Ikolo Ogenerukeywe, Reuben Baru, and Igoli Ebi.
