It's disheartening to see how easily we get distracted from the real issues plaguing Nigeria. The recent controversy surrounding VDM is a perfect example. Instead of focusing on pressing problems like increased data tariffs, lack of infrastructure, and rising transportation costs, we're busy arguing over personalities and Mercy Chinwo's suit.
