As Sir (Ide) Ifeanyi Okechukwu marks his 64th birthday today, Ambassador Dr. Osita Offor, “De Ultimate Commander” (Ikenga Gburugburu of Ohafia/Nneato Ancient Kingdoms), and President of United Abia Artistes and Patriots (UAAP) Forum, has extended warm felicitations to one of their own, the renowned industrialist, investor, philanthropist and Conference Lay President of the Methodist Church Nigeria.
In his goodwill message, Ambassador Offor described Sir Ifeanyi Okechukwu as a rare embodiment of excellence, humility, faith and visionary leadership whose contributions to business, the Church and humanity continue to inspire countless people across Nigeria and beyond.
According to him, Sir Ifeanyi’s remarkable journey from humble beginnings in Nneato, Umunneochi Local Government Area of Abia State, to becoming one of Nigeria’s foremost business leaders stands as a shining example of what dedication, integrity and hard work can achieve.
“Today, we celebrate not just a successful businessman, but a man whose life has been dedicated to creating opportunities for others, advancing the work of God, and touching lives through selfless service. Through his investments, philanthropic interventions and unwavering commitment to the Methodist Church Nigeria, Sir Ifeanyi Okechukwu has left indelible footprints that generations will continue to appreciate.”
Ambassador Offor further commended the celebrant’s outstanding role in infrastructure development, job creation, community advancement and Christian leadership, noting that his generosity and commitment to nation-building have earned him respect across religious, professional and social circles.
“As Conference Lay President of the Methodist Church Nigeria, Sir Ifeanyi has demonstrated exemplary leadership, fostering unity, strengthening the faith and supporting the growth of the Church through both personal sacrifice and visionary service.
