During the just concluded rally of Abia State Labour Party in support of His Excellency, Dr. Peter Gregory Obi, the LP candidate for the 2023 presidential election, and Dr. Alex Otri, as the governorship candidate, Chief Nnamdi Iro Oji was officially handed the party’s flag as the candidate contesting for Abia North Senatorial district to represent his people at the National Assembly in 2023.

The rally which went on successfully to the end at Ngwa High School, Aba has proved to be another milestone in the usual chaos-free campaign associated with the Labour Party at all times and is sure a prove to the massive support the party is enjoying across Nigeria at a point it has offered great relief to the masses who are fed up with failures of APC and PDP.

The party members expressed hearty congratulations to the grassroots mobilizer per excellence for his consistency and unshakable disposition in his resolve to save Abia not from political hemorrhage and salvage what is left of her for the good of the people.

The event which took place on Thursday-10-11-2022 has now confirmed the authenticity of the candidacy of Chief Nnamdi Iro Oji (Opotoyom) and therefore the people are encouraged to cast their vote for him in confidence as the new dawn has come to Abia North.
