Comrade Amos Oge Kalu, Assistant Director Publicity Of OTTIMANIA Legacy Movement, has commended Okon-Aku, Ohafia, for what he described as growing political awareness following the appointment of Comrade Prince Emeka Kalu (Magic Fingers) as a Patron of OTTIMANIA Legacy Movement and Chief J. U. Udensi (Udensco)’s declaration of support for Governor Alex Chioma Otti.
Magic Fingers, President of the Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union (RATTAWU), was last week appointed one of 36 Patrons of OTTIMANIA, and over 200 leaders, which is mobilising support for the re-election of Governor Otti and his deputy, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu, FNSE, in 2027.

In a separate development, Chief J. U. Udensi, of Udensco Oil & Gas, has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the Labour Party, registering at his Ward 10 polling unit Aba in support of Governor Otti’s administration.
Comrade Kalu described the two developments as encouraging signs that Okon-Aku’s prominent sons are recognising the importance of political participation in advancing the community’s interests and attracting development.
He urged other prominent sons and youths of Okon-Aku to follow their example, participate actively in politics at all levels, and abandon infighting and recurring crises that weaken the community’s collective voice.
“Okon-Aku must not remain on the sidelines while other communities position themselves politically. I commend Comrade Prince Emeka Kalu (Magic Fingers) and High Chief J. U. Udensi (Udensco) for their steps and urge our people to unite behind the pursuit of good governance and continuity under Governor Alex Chioma Otti, OFR,” Kalu said.
OTTIMANIA Legacy Movement is led by Ambassador Dr Osita Offor “De Ultimate Commander” (Ikenga Gburuguru of Ohafia and Nneato Ancient Kingdoms). Professor Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, GCON, is its Grand Patron, while Dr Sampson Uchechukwu Ogah, CON, chairs the Board of Trustees.
Kalu, who is also the Publisher of OHAFIATV News, is working alongside Bright Ejike, popularly known as I Go Yan Baba, the Spokesperson and Director of Publicity.
He said greater political participation, unity and constructive engagement would help Okon-Aku strengthen its voice in Abia’s political affairs and pursue its development interests and therefore urged the community to support and vote for the Labour Party at all levels.
