Nigerian Man Arrested in $9 Million Drug Operation at Australian Detention Centre

Sydney, Australia - A 49-year-old Nigerian national, Dirichukwu Patrick Nweke, has been taken into custody for his alleged involvement in a large-scale drug operation at the Villawood Immigration Detention Centre in Sydney. Nweke, who was awaiting deportation, is accused of participating in a $9 million methylamphetamine trafficking ring. According to the New South Wales Police, a search of the detention centre on July 11 uncovered two kilograms of meth, valued at $165,000, hidden in porridge boxes.
