The Nigerian Navy, Forward Operating Base (FOB) Ibaka, has reported the arrest of two suspected oil thieves who were found carrying 3,500 litres of petrol in a wooden boat en route to Cameroon. The Commanding Officer, Capt. Uche Aneke, disclosed this while handing over the suspects and items to the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) in Ibaka on Tuesday. The helicopter carrying Iranian President, Ebrahim Raisi crashes

A helicopter carrying Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on Sunday afternoon crashed in northwestern Iran. It is unclear if Raisi and others on board with him survived the crash. The incident happened while the president was visiting neighbouring Azerbaijan. Iran’s Interior Minister said rescue teams are on the way to the site of the incident.
