NDC candidate for Ohafia South State Constituency, Hon. Chidi Igwe Ukah, has taken his consultation to Amaoba Amaekpu, where he discussed education, scholarship opportunities and other development priorities with residents.
At the meeting, Ukah emphasised the need to make quality education accessible to bright students from indigent families, identifying scholarship support as one of the areas he intends to prioritise if elected into the Abia State House of Assembly.
He also discussed other interventions that would improve the welfare of constituents and ensure that communities in Ohafia South benefit from effective legislative representation.
On the 2027 election, Ukah urged residents to vote and defend their votes, stressing that their electoral choices must be protected if they expect to influence who represents them and how their interests are pursued.
He reminded them that voting goes beyond choosing a candidate; it is an opportunity to demand representation that reflects their needs and holds elected officials accountable.
The Amaoba Amaekpu engagement is part of Ukah’s ongoing consultations across Ohafia South as he seeks the mandate to represent the constituency on the platform of the NDC, in the 2027 elections, under the presidential project of Peter Obi.
