Mr Professor, you moved from the classroom to lead the Apex Bank, and a few months after that, you were able to afford a property worth millions of pounds in London. Congratulations!
The problem is that somehow you want to compete in credibility, integrity and character with a man who bought his house in the same London in 1996, years before he neared public office.
What you achieved through Nzama, he achieved through known and verifiable investment.
What exactly are you fighting for, Mr Professor? To become the model my generation – the younger generation should follow?
So my generation should follow a man who publicly stated that Anambra state does not need two airports but secretly went ahead to commit scarce resources of the state into building one?
My generation should follow a man who publicly stated that his roads will last for 20 years but have constructed roads that are dilapidated after barely two years of construction?
My generation should follow a man who committed over N12bn to a flyover bridge project, publicly stated that the flyover will be commissioned in December 2025, it never happened. Stated again that the flyover will be commissioned in August 2026, to mark the state 35th Anniversary, it never happened!
Till date the multi-billion naira flyover project, is still unusable. Yet you have no shame!
Still under your watch, Mr Professor, N100m was transferred from the Anambra state treasury to the bank account of the son of the Inspector General of Police, yet you maintained graveyard silence on the matter. All you could do was to show us your kissing game to rub it on our faces!
You established an Investment and development agency, you called ADIC, gave it the power to manage upto N200bn worth of investments and funds on behalf of the state, but months after the establishment of the agency you have failed to appoint its Governing Board, despite public statements by your government that you will do so?
Why exactly should my generation follow your footsteps or allow itself to be mentored by your leadership? Following you can only lead one to the ways of ballam – the ways of prediction, waste, ruin and destruction as the bible stated in (2 Peter 2:15).
I have a lot to tell you this Sunday afternoon Mr. Professor, but I’ll leave the rest for another day.
If nobody else can find the courage to tell you the truth, you know I will.
You are not only a failure but a disappointing failure – a tragedy that should never have happened to our state!
