Labour Party Holds Ohafia LGA Strategic Meeting As BourdeX, Osonwa Rally Stakeholders For 2027

The Labour Party has held a strategic meeting for Ohafia Local Government Area, convened at the behest of the party’s Senatorial Candidate for Abia North, Chief David Ogba Onuoha (Bourdex).

The Member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa, was in attendance alongside party leaders and stakeholders from across the local government.

The meeting focused on strengthening party structures and coordinating grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speakers at the gathering recalled that in 2023, Abia North was the only senatorial district to deliver all five of its local government areas to the Labour Party, a feat achieved before the party assumed control of the state government, and expressed confidence that the district is positioned to surpass that result in 2027.

Participants were charged to return to their wards and intensify mobilisation, with emphasis on unity and organisation at the polling unit level.
