In a surprising turn of events, Rep. Ginger Onwusibe, the leader of the Labour Party caucus in the House of Representatives, has come to the defense of Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu's call for Governor Alex Otti to join the All Progressives Congress (APC). Onwusibe's defense comes in response to criticism from fellow Labour Party member, Rep. Obi Aguocha, who deemed Kalu's remarks as condescending and disrespectful to Governor Otti. Onwusibe argued that Kalu did nothing wrong by promoting his party and inviting Otti to join the APC. He emphasized that Kalu's intention was misinterpreted and that he was simply marketing…

In a bold move, Chief Chidiebere J. Okoh, a respected chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State, has publicly defended Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu's recent call for Governor Alex Otti to join the APC. Okoh assertively argued that Kalu, as a dedicated APC member, has the inherent right to canvass for his party, particularly given the APC's control of the central government. This, Okoh believes, positions Abia State to reap significant advantages from Kalu's tireless efforts. In response to…
