Ohafia Monarchs Endorse Development Dialogue With MPA, Pledge Attendance

The Council of Ohafia Monarchs has confirmed their participation in the Ohafia Development Dialogue, scheduled for October 25, 2024.

The traditional rulers, representing 26 communities, expressed their support and commitment to the event during an emergency meeting with a delegation from Mben Political Assembly (MPA).

The monarchs, led by HRM Eziogo Awa Nwankwo Mba, Regent of Amaekpu Ohafia, promised to share valuable insights, promote cohesion, and lend their royal authority to the Dialogue. They acknowledged MPA as a key stakeholder in envisioning and executing development in Ohafia.

Chief Imo Ukwa Imo, leading the MPA delegation, expressed gratitude to the monarchs for their support and dedication to Ohafia’s development. The meeting underscored the importance of collaboration between traditional rulers and stakeholders in driving progress in the region.

The Ohafia Development Dialogue aims to reposition Ohafia for greatness, and the monarchs’ attendance is expected to bring valuable perspectives and royal authority to the event.
