Ohanaeze: Isiguzoro’s Family Slams Fake Death Rumors, Threatens Legal Action

ISIGUZORO FAMILY PRESS RELEASE – ISIGUZORO FAMILY DEBUNKS THE MISLEADING FALSEHOOD OF THE PURPORTED DEATH OF MAZI OKECHUKWU ISIGUZORO, ASSERTING THAT THE OHANAEZE CHIEFTAIN WILL ATTEND THE BURIAL OF THOSE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS MALICIOUS RUMOR

It is with a firm and resolute conviction that the distinguished family of ISIGUZORO Onyike Okereke Enyi,situated in Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State, unequivocally condemns the baseless and malicious rumors regarding the supposed death of our exemplary son, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, who serves as Chieftain and Deputy President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo.  

We take this opportunity to categorically refute the spurious claims disseminated through various channels which assert that Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro has passed away or has been hospitalized at Hospital Ranguiel in Toulouse, France. These assertions are not only unfounded but also reflect a disturbing trend of misinformation that seeks to diminish the dignity and integrity of a man who has dedicated his life to the service of the Igbo. The truth is that Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro is currently recuperating from medical treatment in a secure and confidential location abroad, and emphatically, he is not in France.  

To those who have engineered this harmful narrative, we issue a grave admonition: the creators and purveyors of this falsehood should be prepared to confront the consequences of their actions. Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro will make his presence felt at the funerals of those who conspired to propagate this deceit, participating in a symbolic act by signing their condolence registers. This act underscores a fundamental truth: as the ancient wisdom asserts, “what goes around comes around.” The perpetrators of such malevolence will indeed harvest the fruits of their misdeeds.  

Let this statement serve as an unequivocal final warning. The ISIGUZORO family will not entertain, nor tolerate, any further attempts to disseminate defamatory propaganda against our illustrious son, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro. Any subsequent transgressions of this nature will be met with rigorous legal action, executed with the fullest strength of the law.  

In closing, the ISIGUZORO family extends heartfelt gratitude to the Igbo community and all kind-hearted individuals who have risen to support us during this distressing time. Your prayers and solidarity have been a balm on our wounds, reinforcing our commitment to honor the truth and protect our legacy.
