Comrade Prince Emeka Kalu (Magic Fingers), the President of the Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union of Nigeria (RATTAWU), was among the key figures who joined the President and Chairman of Council of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Dr Ike Neliaku, and members of the institute’s Governing Council in Adamawa State for the investiture of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri as Patron of the institute.
The event held in Jimeta, Yola, following a closed-door engagement at the Adamawa State Government House.

Comrade Kalu received a special invitation in recognition of his commitment to professionalism and his role in Nigeria’s media and arts industry.
Speaking to journalists after the meeting, Dr Neliaku explained the thinking behind NIPR’s patronship initiative, noting that the Adamawa visit was part of a nationwide drive to strengthen the institute’s state chapters and raise professional standards in public communication.
He also disclosed that the engagements were helping to mobilise support for the World Public Relations Forum (WPRF) 2026, scheduled to take place in Abuja from November 15 to 21.
Kalu’s presence at the event brings RATTAWU into the conversation around professional communication at a time when Nigeria is preparing to host a major international gathering of public relations practitioners.
For RATTAWU, the engagement provides an opportunity to follow developments in the communication sector and contribute the perspective of workers across radio, television, theatre and the arts.
