The Stage is set and all Stakeholders have assembled in Enugu, “The Coal City”; South Eastern Nigeria. For a Summit that will bring to birth, Policies and agenda that will successfully deliver the Syllabus for NAFEST 2025.

The Radio Television Theatre and Arts Workers Union (RATTAWU) Nigeria, an umbrella Union representing Workers in the Broadcast, Arts and Cultural industries have been pencilled down and invited to be Part of this success Story.

The Prince Emeka Kalu Presidency, since its swearing has never left anyone in doubt about the Mission and Vision of his leadership.

As past of his agenda, he has embarked on a robust engagement with critical Stakeholders with a clear mandate of a New beginning, embracing a New Social and Cultural Shift with attendant outcomes of clear Possibilities and Opportunities.

The Participation of RATTAWU as a Major Stakeholder at the 55th Culture and Creative Economy Summit on the National Festival of Arts and Culture ( NAFEST) , will pave the way for a broader Partnership for the benefits of both parties considering the Very purpose of the summit, which is meant to review NAFEST with a view of getting a Feedback from States on the alignment/ Execution of a road map for the Sector.

The Presentation of NCAC Modular proposal for its projects at the State levels. Particularly Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship (ICE) which will be Considered in addition to adopting Syllabus for the Festival and formats for international Arts and Craft EXPO( INAC) is of utmost importance.

Special recognition must therefore be accorded the ever dynamic Director General and Chief Executive Officer, National Council for Arts and Culture; Obi Asika for his foresight and desire to transform and reposition the National Council for Arts and Culture.

RATTAWU is moving and needs the Support of every Member of the Union to succeed.

The time is now to raise the banner of a progressive and focused oriented Union.
