The United Abia Artistes & Patriots Forum (UAAP), has described the Supreme Court victory of Governor Alex Chioma Otti OFR as a victory for the progress of Abia State.

In a press release made available to reporters in Umuahia and signed by the Convener of UAAP Amb. Dr. Osita Offor ‘The Ultimate Commander’, the group revealed that they expected the victory because of the emergence of Gov. Otti is a product of God’s intervention and the determination of the people of Abia State.

“The victory was a hard fight from the people and God equally intervened to cripple the devices of election riggers and manipulators. So, as a group we expected the victory, we know that overturning the victory is impossible because of God’s involvement”.

“We were aware of all their attempts to overturn the election and as a group we had earlier advised them to stay away from distracting the governor. But now, they have no choice but to stay away and allow Abians to enjoy the dividends of democracy”

“As a group we want every Abian to understand that the victory of Gov. Otti at the Supreme Court is a victory for everyone. This government does not segregate, this government is not for Labour Party members alone, this government is for every man, woman and all residents in Abia State.”

“So, lets all join hands and support the governor, pray for the governor and his team and we will see more development in Abia State”

The group equally appreciated Governor Alex Otti for the rapid change in the state and urged him to remain focused and committed towards the overall development of the state.
