Former Zamfara State Governor, Abdul’aziz Yari, has called on Muslims to pray for the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, during the Eid-el-Fitr celebration. Yari made the call while addressing journalists at his residence in Talata-Mafara town, Talata-Mafara area of the state. He also urged all Nigerians, irrespective of tribe and regional differences, to pray for Tinubu to succeed. Election Tribunal: INEC tells Court to dismiss Obi, LP’s prayers in the suit.

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has told the Presidential Election Petition Court, PEPC to dismiss a suit filed by Peter Obi of the Labour Party because the reliefs sought are not grantable. Nigeria’s electoral body, INEC, disclosed this on Monday at the PEPC’s Secretariat by its lawyer, Abubakar Mahmoud, SAN, in Abuja.
